After two years the Tricolor Arrows return to Lignano Sabbiadoro! On Thursday 28th July on the Lignano coast the usual appointment with aerobatics and Tricolor Arrows will take place in the air show, called: “W Lignano Airshow”.

The long-awaited event, promoted by the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro and the Friulian Aeroclub, finally, returns after two seasons of absence due to the restrictions related to the pandemic that, fortunately only temporarily, have stopped an event that had taken place continuously since 1990.
Directly from the beach, the public will have the possibility of admiring the evolutions of the Tricolor Arrows National Aerobatic Patrol, the HH139 helicopter, for a rescue demonstration, for the first time, together with a formation of Air Force jets. Two AMX and two Eurofighter of the 51st Istrana Flock will burst with their roar on the waterfront and carry out tactical flyovers. There will also be a substantial presence of civilian displays, with the legendary Andrea Pesenato, Italian ace of aerobatics and several times Italian speciality champion; he, with his CAP 231, will keep the public with their noses up. There will also be a welcome return of the Audace Team, with the performances of three paramotors, as well as of the parachutists of Campoformido UP&GO school, and with the performances of the pair of microlights of the Flyng Donkey team.

Professional acrobats and Tricolor Arrows will perform over the stretch of water in front of the beach, at the beach office 11 in Sabbiadoro. The best place to admire the whole event will be the on the “Terrazza a Mare” , but under the sun-umbrella, on the beach, the view will be excellent as well! The show will run from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm and will be entirely free.
